27 days. This French breakfast variety displays a unique rosy-pink color accented with a white tip and delights the palate with its mild-tasting, sweet, crisp flesh. Patricia is a very early radish, ready in just a little more than 3 weeks. The roots are medium long and cylindrical, and the foliage is very strong.
Direct sow radish seeds in well-worked soil after all danger of frost has passed in early spring and again in late summer for a fall crop. In frost-free areas, you can sow them in the fall. Sow the seeds thinly in rows about 6 inches apart and cover with a half inch of fine soil, then firm lightly and keep the soil evenly moist. Seedlings should emerge in 4 to 6 days.
Thin the seedlings to about 2 inches apart and be sure to water evenly. Avoid over fertilizing. Finish harvesting your radishes before the weather becomes too warm, or the roots will become woody and pithy. You can store your radishes in plastic bags in your refrigerator for up to 3 weeks with the tops cut off. When harvesting in fall or winter, dig up any remaining roots before the ground freezes. Pkt is 1/8 oz. Pkt is at least 100 seeds.
