Thats why Autumn Colors Rudbeckia is all the more surprising to see humongous blooms opening atop the plant from late spring into early fall. And such beautiful blooms. All have a maroon to burgundy center, but beyond that, all bets are off. Some have bronze petals, others sunny yellow, still others rich gold. A few have burgundy rings toward the base of the petals. Autumn Colors Rudbeckia does well in the back of the border, where their size makes them stand out, or dotted among other summer bloomers in the middle of a mixed planting.
