Exquisite shading from deep, midnight blue to pure white distinguish this stunning new Petunia, which swept the 2003 AAS and Fleuroselect awards! A very floriferous multiflora type with a taller habit than many other varieties, Merlin Blue Morn Hybrid is THE new Petunia for cool color in beds and baskets!
These flowers measure 2 1/2 inches across, and their color pattern is called a “halo” or “morn.” They arise all over the place on neatly mounded plants about 15 to 20 inches tall and 18 to 30 inches wide. Denser and with a bit more height than most spreading Petunias, Merlin Blue Morn is very versatile, looking equally at home in the garden or container.
Expect the flowers to come all season on this terrifically high performer! It is a great source of rare blue color for the annual bed, patio garden, and container display. A nice companion to foliage plants such as Helichrysum Silver Mist, it is really so full and plump that you can plant it all by itself and just let it tumble! Thrives in full sun and any well-drained garden soil. Pkt is 50 seeds.
