To encourage rebloom, just shear the plant back after the first flowers begin to pass.Candy Stripe reaches 4 to 6 inches high but can spread up to 18 inches in the garden, filling in within just a season or two. A great companion to spring-blooming bulbs, it is also lovely in containers, and its autumn rebloom really perks up the late-season garden.Hummingbirds and butterflies love these blooms, and nibbling animals tend to avoid the plant.
