An exciting new salvia, Salvia BODACIOUS® Smokey Jazz flowers, and freely re-flowers throughout the season, in bright berry-colored blooms on smoky black calyxes, and the dark green leaves keep their color in the summer heat. Its improved branching creates a compact, rounded habit, but pruning after the first flowering will enhance branching and encourage blooming.Hummingbirds love this anise-scented sage, so youll want to plant it in your pollinator garden, in mass or with companion plants. Since BODACIOUS® Rhythm & Blues has the same breeding, it is a perfect companion for Salvia BODACIOUS® Smokey Jazz.Salvia BODACIOUS® Smokey Jazz is hardy in Zones 8 to 11 but is best grown as an annual in colder climates.
