The first French Lavender bred especially for containers, Sancho Panza is a happy-go-lucky, quick-growing, very long-blooming variety that may be grown as an annual or perennial. Just a foot or so high, it quickly forms a dense, rounded plant that covers itself in blooms all summer long.
Very fragrant, Sancho Panza fills in quickly and keeps the flowers coming over a long season, densely packed along flowerspikes 4 to 5 inches long. Each flower is 1 1/2 to 2 inches across, packed with color as well as scent.
Sancho Panza takes no time at all to establish, so it’s ideal for mixed containers and other annual settings where it can lend its wonderful fragrance to less-fortunate neighboring plants!
Grow in a well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in an open, sunny spot. If growing as a perennial, trim plants back in spring to make bushier specimens. Hardy in zones 8-9, and grown as an annual everywhere else. Pkt is 25 seeds.
