Novico is a superb spinach both for baby greens and mature leaves. Fast-growing, with a high resistance against most types of downy mildew, and simply delicious, it is a great variety for spring and fall.
Novico is ready in under a month for tender, succulent baby greens. Bright green and boasting a velvety texture, it is mild and satisfying. Let it mature another two weeks or so and the leaves will be dark green, flavorful, and ready for use in salads, stews, and side dishes.
This plant reaches 6 to 12 inches high and about 6 to 9 inches wide. Sow the seeds successively in spring and fall for continuous harvests all season! Pkt is 200 seeds.
