Not quite “metallic,” they’re more “silver dusted” with bright color. The effect is electrifying!
For years gardeners have yearned to get Impatiens out of the shade, and now the day has finally arrived! Sunny Lady can take morning sun in the deep south, full sun in the far north, and all degrees of compromise between those extremes in between! The plant is a very reliable performer from seed, springing right up into compact, dense mounds about 8 to 10 inches high and wide. When the flowers begin in early summer, you’ll be stunned by their size (2 inches across) as well as their number. Even if it weren’t heat- and sun-tolerant, Sunny Lady would be the Impatiens of choice for its color range and sheer floriferousness!
