It’s a brand-new color palette for merry Snaps! Twinny Yellow Shades blends butter, cream, apricot, and gold into large “butterfly” (double) blooms that jostle one another for space on dwarf plants. Standing tough despite harsh spring or fall weather, this bedding plant is just right for containers as well as the sunny bed.
The Twinny series is the first Snap to offer double-flowered blooms on a dwarf habit, and Twinny Yellow Shades adds another innovation — uniquely blended brights and pastels! Most Snaps are boldly painted in bright primaries, but this one offers intense, saturated color in four distinct shades, beautifully blended so that each flower looks handpainted.
You will be able to enjoy these stunning blooms up close, because the stems are ideal for cutting, and you get so many blooms you’ll have plenty for the garden, too. Combine Yellow Shades with other luscious colors in the series as well as with Pansies, ornamental cabbage and kale, and other cool-season annuals.
Just 12 inches high and up to 8 inches wide, Twinny Yellow Shades is nicely compact, and it makes the most of its smaller space. The flowers continue over a long season, and the plant is equally suited for spring or fall, being quite weather-resistant. This is the Snap to grow in that “risky” spot where others may have failed. Given sunshine and well-drained soil, it’s prepared to grow vigorously and flower freely.
Sow the seed indoors about 10 to 12 weeks before you want flowers. Twinny Yellow Shades needs cool conditions to flourish, and may even be a winter crop in hot climates. Pkt is 100 seeds.
