Zinderella Fizz Zinnia Seeds

A member of the Zinderella series, ‘Zinderella Fizz’ zinnia is a half-hardy annual that blooms heavily from midsummer through fall, typically to first frost. Extremely heavy blooming, ‘Zinderella Fizz’ continuously sets 2- to 4-inch globe-shaped double flowers set atop 25- to 30-inch stems. Uniquely colored, the bi-color, frilly crested double-scabiosa blooms exhibit shades of strawberry and pink with a dark contrasting center. Borne singly at the end of a stem, the nectar-rich flowers lure butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and other beneficial pollinators to the garden. The dramatic dahlialike blooms make beautiful, long-lasting cuts for bouquets, bright garnishes for salads, and lovely everlastings.

A Zinnia elegans species, commonly called zinnia, ‘Zinderella Fizz’ has a dense, upright, mounding habit and a fast growth rate. Good air circulation is vital for best performance, so provide generous spacing. Zinnias are low maintenance but deadheading faded flowers keeps them blooming. The plants tolerate heat and drought and resist damage from deer.
